We would begin your treatment by taking a thorough history and conducting a comprehensive physical evaluation, which would be followed by interventions that would include:
- Manual therapy, including myosfascial release, deep tissue massage, scar mobilization and more
- Comprehensive strength, flexibility, and stabilization exercise program focused on core, and pelvic floor musculature
- Bowel and bladder re-education techniques with diary instruction
- Muscle relaxation and reeducation techniques
- Postural stabilization exercises
- Muscle re-education using biofeedback techniques
- Home exercise programs designed to enhance functional mobility and competency
